About Me

Nyob Zoo & Hello,
My name is Jenny Yang, founder of HmongKin Dolls. In this space, I invite you to journey with me as I weave together a memoir of blending two cultures — told through limited edition cultural fashion dolls.

As a Hmong American daughter, mother, wife, sister, nyab (daughter-in-law), and full-time professional, I’ve carried with me both the beauty of my Hmong heritage and the opportunities of my American upbringing. That balance — the bridge between two worlds — has shaped my vision to create something meaningful, beautiful, and collectible, a treasure to connect us across generations.

I created this space so we can journey together:
✨ Behind-the-scenes of designing dolls
✨ The stories that inspire each collection
✨ Reflections on family, identity, and heritage

My hope is that this blog becomes more than updates — that it becomes a place of connection. I believe none of us should be solo travelers in life, and through storytelling, we can honor our roots while embracing new paths forward.

Thank you so much for being here. I know life is busy, and the fact that you are reading this means the world to me. I see you, and I appreciate you. 💛

I’d love for you to continue this journey with me — share your thoughts, tell your story, and subscribe for updates. Together, we can keep our roots thriving and blossoming.
